our history

In February, 1988 Gerald and Deonn Courtney founded
Courtney Electronics. Initially, it all began with designing
and developing a computerized clinic coordination system
for Boozman-Hof Regional Eye Clinic in Rogers, Arkansas.
Upon completion, Courtney Electronics began looking
for other avenues to build the business. The company
contracted with Duncan Industries in Harrison, Arkansas,
for some manufacturing. Later the company did some Design
and development with Sage Industries and then Clarke
Industries in Springdale, Arkansas.
On October 8, 1991, the company was incorporated in
the state of Arkansas. After eight years of doing business
in Garfield, Arkansas, the company was relocated to
Fayetteville, Arkansas in June, 1994.
Today Courtney Electronics, Inc. has developed a comprehensive
line of DC Motor Controllers for a wide range of Industrial
and Commercial applications. Compared to competitive
products, Courtney electronics has developed state-of-the-art,
completely solid-state line of motor controllers, which
should prove to be much more reliable with a
much longer life span.
